The main activity of Nikopol Trubny Zavod LLC is the production of seamless cold-deformed pipes for general use, especially thin-walled and thin-walled pipes made of carbon, stainless steel grades, nickel-based alloys for nuclear power, aviation, shipbuilding, machine-building, chemical industry.

Equipment and technologies applied by the plant ensure the production of pipe products in accordance with the main GOST, TU, international ASTM and DIN standards.
We manufacture the following products :
– seamless cold-worked steel pipes in accordance with GOST 8733-74V / 8734-75 steel grades 10,20,35,45,15X, 20X, 40X, etc., with a diameter of 6 mm to 114 mm with a wall thickness of 0.5 mm-12mm;
– precision steel pipes GOST 9567-75;
– seamless steel pipes for the oil refining and petrochemical industry GOST 550-75 steel grade 10,20,15Х5М;
-shaped pipes: square GOST 8639-82, rectangular GOST 8645-68;
– seamless steel pipes for shipbuilding GOST 1060-83 with an outer diameter of 16 to 60 mm with a wall thickness of 2 to 4 mm;
-pipes for boiler plants and pipelines TU 14-3-190-04;

History of the plant and range of production of stainless steel pipes,
titanium alloy pipes.
In 1931, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the National Economy of the USSR, it was decided to build the South Pipe Plant in the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region, located on the right bank of the Dnieper River.
In 1935, the Nikopol Yuzhnotrubny plant was put into operation. Pipe-rolling mill “140” was put into operation. The Yuzhnotrubny (Pivdenotrubny) plant acquired the status of a city-forming enterprise, it built the city, served it and provided jobs for most of the city’s population.
In 1941-1945. the pipe plant was evacuated to the Urals. In 1945, the revival of the Yuzhnotrubny plant began and in 1947 the first rolled pipe was received in the post-war period, the plant became an operating enterprise in the country.
Pipe rolling has a huge range of applications, which includes industries such as construction, oil production, etc.

Our basis for the production of pipes is seam (welded) and seamless methods. In the first case, the products are made by cold deformation of the sheet blank, after which the butt seam is welded. Seam welding, in turn, is also based on two methods – longitudinal seam and spiral seam. The first will need a poettap deformation of the workpiece, where there will be a seam near the axis, and in the second method, the sheet workpiece is twisted. There is also a rolling production, it is often called a seamless production method. Such pipes are also made by cold or hot methods.
